Watford have just sacked Silva! They really don't give their managers much time do they?

After turning down millions from Everton for him a few months back. I keep saying it but the game has gone at the top level. Doesn’t feel like the people’s game anymore. Too much money involved

Funny though. Everton were desperate for him and were told to do one so they had to bend the knee to fat sam and pay him an absolute fortune. Couple of months later Silva is sacked and available.

Surely the 20th richest club in world football could pay Sham off and get him in.. Billionaires ain’t they?

Fair do's to Man City - already 2-1 up from 1st leg and playing a lower division team but not making wholesale changes during a busy period.

Think he realised that Bristol City would be up for a fight, and it was too risky. I suspect he'll go easy on the FA Cup now though.

Bristol were very good over two legs and it was yet another reminder of how slender the margin is between a 'top' team and a so called lesser one. It's really not that much, especially when the 'lesser' team are up for it.

Lass Diarra signs for PSG after having only played 5 games in a year and a half in the UAE league. One of the weirder and more diverse careers in recent memory. He's an immense player when he wants to be but he's a weirdo and one of the biggest mercenaries in the game.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out. When he came back from a similarly long hiatus to sign for Marseille in 2015, he became the best midfielder in France that season. It would be incredible if he got back to that level.

I see Phil Neville is bigging up his potential new job as England's women's coach. What a dick.

The presenter on BBC was just defending his appointment, admitting that he's got next-to-no managerial or coaching experience, but his sister is the national netball team manager and "he has experience of winning trophies". Apparently, he'll be alright "as long as he surrounds himself with the right people " - which, in fairness, is how he won trophies, by being surrounded with much better players than himself.

Awful appointment.

Another doff of the cap to the FA.

Plus there's all this twitter "stuff" about his tweets in 2012, this isn't going to end well!

They have probably signed him as player manager,  Awaiting news of Phillipa Nevilles's gender re-assignment  surgery,

What the hell is this new international UEFA tournament? First I've heard of it. Just what we need, more international games...

The idea is to replace friendlies and winners of the groups have a chance to qualify for the Euro's or at least get to playoffs. At least thats my understanding.

It is an abortion of an idea. The last thing we want is international managers now having an even strong hand to demand injured or recovering players turn up god knows where for their medical team to examine them and say they are ok to play. The clubs need to fight back over this international shit.

Imagine Giggs making a call demanding a player to show up for his country..

I believe it has been introduced due to fear over how strong and dominant club footy is.

I despise international footy personally so hate the idea of this.

The whole Ingerlund mentallity and those shite george cross flags with shite club logos/names on and inbred shithole town names on etc and that fucking stupid band - just fuck off and do one.

Shite.

Watching 6 fingered twats like Stoke et al or twats like Chelsea rock up at Anfield week in week out and give it their always the victim or sign on shite etc and then be expected to stand with them and cheer for shithouses like Rooney et al backed by the Scum newspaper and their little ingerlunder mentallity - no fucking thanks.

The mancs might be horrible but they have it right about Ingerlund as well to be fair to them.
