The manager doesn't seem too arsed about it, to be honest. That's the reason why I'm not sure he'll have it. I think he is by far the stand out candidate and could be the Captain long-term. Hopefully he sees us as a destination and the fact we broke the world record for him will dissuade him from leaving prematurely. He'd be great.

I know Klopp does't seem too arsed about the captaincy but you are right. Giving him the captains arm-band secures him at the club for longer. He is 1st name on the team-sheet for me.

Won't be going to Barca any time soon.

 

Barcelona will have to pay a 100million Euros premium in addition to any transfer fee should they try and sign another Liverpool player before 2020. The clause was negotiated by sporting director Michael Edwards as part of Philippe Coutinho’s £142million move. @TimesSport
