Joe Root has played 7 Tests in Australia for 7 losses. I'm not sure if an England have ever lost 9 in a row in Australia?? Stopping that rot would be a motivator, you'd think.

Australian players want to book their flight to South Africa, plus the big occasion of Boxing Day should have them ready to go.

What a ground.

Fantastic stadium for watching cricket and Aussie Rules, but the pitch isn't great.

Greetings chaps, from cricket's 2nd most famous, and best Long Room.

I'm tucking into my seared rare lamb entree, and then either the Turkey or Porterhouse roast.

Decisions decisions.

Have a great Boxing Day.

Haha fantastic. Enjoy mate.

Were the England bowlers in there tucking in before play? They were sluggish the first 5 overs, much better now.

What the fuck is our plan here?

Lose by an innings?

I wonder if I could get odds on Australia declaring this innings. Can't see us bowling them out unless something changes drastically.

I don't mind Bancroft, but he's had a fairly modest series and is currently struggling on a road.

Also, being in trouble by Anderson's modest pace doesn't bode well for South Africa.

Warner doing what Warner does- dominating in great batting conditions.
