I'm getting pretty fucked off with the Australian hierarchy's obsession with Moises fucking Henriques. A classic bits and pieces player that has absolutely no business batting at 4 in a team that is serious about winning things.

Yeah, it was frustrating that the build-up and actual games for Australia have had so much time lost to rain, but they were looking in trouble against NZ and would have beaten Bangladesh, so 2 points from 2 games was about right. It was more the lack of match practice that didn't help, especially going up against an in-form England on their home turf in a knockout game.

England to beat Pakistan, then face India in the final. From there the coin toss could decide it.

Agree with that.

Brilliant fast bowling? Check.

High risk, high reward batting? Check.

Dramatic batting collapse? Check.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Hales just gone, Eng 34/1 off 5.4 overs.

Odd start.

Barstow was out LBW and not given.

Hales was not out LBW and given.

Both incredibly close calls.

Yeah, but that is why reviews are handy. I suppose there is cause for having this umpires call bit taken out of the equation, it should either be 'out' or 'not out'

I think England will win this game, but India v Pakistan would be some sort of final from a neutral perspective.

Yes, I'm fairly confident India will beat Bangladesh.

Yeah, reviews are a vital part of the game now.

Yes, I think "umpire's call" is a bit contradictory to the system.

Morgan getting a bit bogged down here. It's a slower wicket though which suits bowling a bit better. With only 2 wickets down we are still in the box seat at 123/2 off 26 overs. Pakistan have a weakish batting line up which are prone to collapsing. Reckon anything over 260 on here will see them struggle.

260 might be a good score here.

Oldish pitch slowing up.

Next time, I might read your post before posting myself, G!

Great minds mate and all that.

It's one of those pitches were runs on the board adds pressure to the chasing team.

Shit shot from Morgan though, especially when Hassan always gets the ball to swing away at the last second. Just move across your crease a bit you knob.

It was a hurling shot.

Beautiful bowling from Hassan.

Pakistan only win this if they try and bowl England out though. Get them for less than 200 and they'll win.

Let them slowly drift their way to 230/240 and it'll be too many for a team that often shits the bed chasing.
