Shit.  Forgot it was only 4th day.  Sorry.

Easily done mate, especially when it's hard to track what day of the week it is at this time of the year.

Who could have possibly predicted a one day slog, with his front foot about a metre away from the line of the ball, to the swinging new ball against Rabada, from Bairstow.

Time for him to fuck off back to county cricket for a while. The team doesn't need him and Buttler.

For someone who was just picked due to the Illness of pope he didn't exactly fight to keep himself in the reckoning. Reckon that's him done for the foreseeable.

Root goes for a wide ball in a new spell from that Nortje now.....and feeds a simple one to the slips. Fuckers giving me hope and snatching it away through stupidity.

That's that then. Decent effort early on before collapsing in an all too familiar fashion. We seem to lack the spine these days and find it impossible to put in two good innings.

Root better not bang on about being proud of the effort, because in all honesty we just got bummed off a team that lost loads of Tests of late and have a weak batting order themselves.

Root welcoming the interviewer saying the build up was interrupted due to illness and said none of the players let anyone down, and that it was pleasing to put some effort in. On the toss, he stills believe it was a 50/50 choice, in that case surely you'd bat first when you struggle to chase of late. Ah well.

I hope so. I really hate Bairstow, he's such an arrogant little fuck. It's a bit like Nunavut Patrick and his hatred of Belgium.

Bairstow has the odd good innings in him on home soil, most notably on batsmen friendly wickets but then gets ahead of himself and believes the hype.

2nd test. Eng win the toss and Root chooses to bat first.

Burns injured in an accident, Crawley to open. Pope replaces Bairstow and Archer is injured and Best comes in as a spinner.

Been a curse of a tour so far this one. Probably lose 4-0.

Yeah, Burns picked up ankle ligament damage playing the unmentionable! Not sure we'll lose 4-0 mate, SA aren't that good themselves. This looks a bellter of a strip and it was a good toss to win.

I wasn’t being entirely serious mate, just emphasising the point about how the tour has been, what with the illness and injuries.

I saw footage of Burns injury yesterday, it looked really innocuous as well. He was just starting to look the part as well.

We’ll defo lose the series but hopefully it won’t be a whitewash.
