I'm as optimistic as they come in regards to sport, but these useless fuckers have dragged me down into the pool of pessimism. One fucking player making double figures and he only got 12 runs! Absolutely disgraceful. 

Heads should roll, but we all know apart from one, maybe two scapegoats that nothing sweeping will happen. The ECB/Selectors/Coaches/Captain and senior players are on lucrative contracts. They'll talk a lot, then that will be that. 

Fuck em, I'm off shopping then I'm going to lay in the Garden in the 29°C sun with a few ciders and read Jurgen Klopp's biography which I got as part of my birthday pressies on Monday. Plus I'm not keen on watching that grinning cheat Warner or listening to that cretin warne being all chipper.

On a side note: One for our Aussie friends.

 

I was speaking to some relations in Australia and they were saying that your average Aussie fan has more or less forgiven Warner, Smith and Bancroft for their cheating, they see winning the Ashes as more important, well at least at present time. Is that a fair reflection on things?

There are still decent batting conditions to come, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we can come back in this match
