Fucking hell you bowl outside off to Smith and he just walks across and whips it to leg for runs, over and over again.

Need to give him some chin music, pitch not lively enough though. Archer can't get fit quick enough imo, just adds something else.

Towards the end of Lyon’s spell it seemed to stop turning as much.

Could be down to the age of the ball, sweet spot between 40-60 overs old.

Seeing at keeps stepping right across his stumps, why not throw a yorker in there ?

Said the same earlier, I'd be looking for a yorker every over. Hope that short ball hurt like hell.

Yorkers in general are hardly ever used in tests. Smith just never seems to miss a straight ball, in fact he always scores off them so he forces you not to bowl there.

Yeah, but speed variations would be the trick. Slow yorker after a couple of quick ones.

Easy in theory.

You certainly need a bowler capable enough to do it, but far from impossible. Lots of them use the yorker in the shorter game. No harm in doing it in a test when you are looking for something different.

Shit, they've brought Warne back onto comms....mute is in service.

Mmmm. Did they use a light meter....no. So how can they be consistent if the same happens again with bad light in their opinion? Ahh, light meter coming out.
