He's obviously a good player , but does seem to have an large touch of the 'lucky' gene in this series  , whereas the likes of Head & Wade seem to go as soon as they as they make a mistake. I am sure it will even out over a career.

 

On a similar sort of topic I was really surprised when Warne was discussing catching percentages and said that Broad has had more than 100 catches dropped for England .

All these bits of luck from Smith/Labuschangne also add to the bowlers physiological block when it comes to getting them out. You wait, in the Aussies next series they'll probably struggle to make a score.
