Highlights how shit Root's captaincy was when we had them at 44/4, he played right into their hands. The run rate shot up and he failed to curb it. The bowlers have to take some of that blame too. 

As things stand, one final hurdle to surmount. Big fucking hurdle though and as Capt points out, they get a new ball in 11 overs. They've lasted a lot longer than most of us thought though. Pity Roy threw his wicket away yet again, Butler digging in though. Where's the shitty Manchester weather when you need it.

I think it's pretty obvious that Australia have two captains pulling the strings. Smith is never far away from Paine when decisions are being made.
