Excellent day of Test cricket.

England bowled really well with the new ball and had their early wickets. Archer and Broad sent loads of unplayable balls down and were unlucky not to get more. Aussies then had a spell after the Rain/early tea break and fair fucks to that wanker Warner for digging in, he looked like a walking wicket early on. That Labuschange also had a decent knock, apart from that they really didn't have a good day with the bat. Archer with excellent figures and Broad may only have got the two wickets but he bowled really well all day.

Set up for a good day tomorrow and the weather should be a lot better for batting. Hopefully we can get 350+ and it would be very hard for the Aussies to escape the game with anything.

How much have you had to drink, mate?

What also made my day was when Warne was getting ahead of himself in the comms box and being all chipper. Banging on about Australia getting 300 and Warner/Labuchange being a big partnership......Warner was out the next over which ultimately led to the collapse. Hahaha. Keep it up Warney you plastic faced douche bag.

Nothing. Weather should be well better for batting, day two at Headingley, 350+ shouldn't be too far off the mark if we have a decent go with the bat. I know we can also collapse, just think we are due a good innings and not a great deal of scoreboard pressure as such. We'll see.

Root waited far too long before going back to Archer and Broad, hopefully that 70 odd runs won’t end up costing us.

This...was an odd one because during that period thought we would have to settle for 220 rather than 180, but In reality should have had em for 130-140....still advantage England and better weather ahead

There was actually no need to use Stokes or Woakes when he did because Broad and Archer were getting plenty of rest due to the rain breaks.

Going be tough for England tomorrow but luckily Root won the toss as I think if the Aussies had bowled first Englan would have been out for less than a 100 , can't believe Paine said he'd have batted first if he'd won it.

Great bowling by Archer and Broad made even better when only two wickets were down and Warne said "Archers kind of lost his zip" . Have to say though that spell by Stokes and Woakes, I don't think I've seen a worse hour of test match bowling for many a yearStokes gets a pass for past endeavours but Anderson has to come in for Woakes even on one leg.

Roy gone cheaply again, hit two good shots for 4 then wafts at a wide ball to gift his wicket yet again. 10/1. Root yet again has to face a new ball.

Abysmal.

Test opener...shakes head.

He just can't get the shorter game out of his head, he sees a ball with width and can't help himself. If he doesn't do well in the second innings then surely he has to be shelved for the time being.
