With Test matches ruined by rain you would think that they could come up with a fair way to prevent that. They could easily extend the match by a day or two and space the tests out over a longer period, maybe have it at 4 tests. If the rain still means a draw is obvious after 6/7 days then so be it. Another way. They could just have one innings per side should the match be rain affected. It would see teams being a bit more productive in their first innings should the weather intervene. I know a lot will say don't touch Test cricket and leave things how they are, but I'm sure crowds would like to see a result in the game instead of the weather forcing a drawn game.

Rain is just part of the game and teams have to adjust to try and force the win. What does annoy me though is when there are extra overs due to rain, they don't start at 10am.
