Tony, if you read this, let us know how you are.

You wrote on here about your fear that cancer you had had previously had returned and there were many on here who encouraged you to go and see your doctor.

I haven't heard from you since the day before the appointment you told us about.

I know people are waiting to hear how you are.

Thinking about you.

Cath

Bit harsh mate. Just genuine concern.

Sorry if you thought it sounded harsh, it's just my opinion.

Sorry to Cath if it came across as rude.  That wasn't my intention.

I just think that if he wants to post about his illness on here he will do so when he's ready, not when prompted.

I  think it's good to show concern  though hombre, even a text from a mate asking how I was doing used to give me a huge lift. Being depressed/having anxiety is the loneliest place in the world, knowing people are looking out for you and have been through it and come out the other side is nine-tenths of the cure, in my experience.

I don't think Tony is the type to want threads dedicated to him, again just my opinion.

It did and I wasn't asking him to. A quick PM would suffice and I could pass that on to others.

When you share stuff on here a, possibly unintended, consequence is that it impacts on others too. Sure, it may seem like the Wild West on here at times but there's also a lot of warmth and that's the spirit in which my post was intended
