It would potentially cost companies more in redundancies than corporation tax.

If they fuck off, they will still be charged tax in other countries. It's all hot air. But if they don't want to pay their fair way then good riddance to them. And that's a stance I have believed in since I was a kid.

If they did leave, as has been mentioned earlier, it opens the market for local businesses to open in the gaps created. There will always be someone to fill the slot. Always.

Then why weren't they there before?

It's weird, we acknowledge that Brexit will see companies leave as trading becomes difficult or less profitable but when that same premise is applied in a political argument it's all bollocks.

Who weren't there before? Starbucks? Coffee shops have only become big over the last 10 years, the created a market. If they want to leave then a small businessman/woman will identify that the demand for them will still be there so they will open one up and fill the gap.

And I would much rather give my money to a local business who puts something back than some corporate tax avoiding group of investors.

Brexit is just being used as a scare tactic by companies. Nissan decided to stay, who says others won't?

Yes, I'm sure potentially thousands of redundancies is great for the economy. That sun must be getting to your head.

Another one who thinks no one but a billionaire cunt who dosnt live in this country can provide the service and pay his fair share of tax on profit than billion earning cunt can.

Can someone please lock Lifetime Fan and Bobby Hundreds in a cupboard, the negative bastards. Always with them negative waves, baby. Let them out to vote next Thursday.

Anyway, on a more positive note, this guy must be the best-named candidate ever. Make him PM, I say.

What the fuck are you on about?

I've stated loads of times on here that tax laws should be tightened, people evading it should be locked up and we should pay absolute top whack for lawyers to keep the loopholes closed.

Well his manifesto is bollocks as it's already 20% for small companies

"I'm not voting Labour because of what it says in their manifesto."

"Here's their manifesto.  It doesn't say what you think it says."

"Well, their manifesto is bollocks."

I'm calling bullshit.  What's your real reason for preferring a Tory Government?

No I'm saying it's bollocks. Why does it say a return to 20% if it's already 20% for small companies

It doesn't say that.  It says they will reintroduce a lower rate for small businesses.  Without fact-checking, I'm assuming that this means that currently small businesses and big corporations are paying the same rate.

Corporation tax is the lowest of any major developed economy. Our new settlement with business will ask large corporations to pay a little more while still keeping corporation tax among the lowest of the major developed economies. In turn, we will meet the business need for a more skilled workforce with extra corporate tax revenues while contributing to education and skills budgets. We will protect small businesses by reintroducing the lower small profits rate of corporation tax. We will also exclude small businesses from costly plans to introduce quarterly reporting and take action on late payments.

Close the tax loopholes,  just like a noose around the neck.

I am fucking sick and tired of seeing the tail wag the dog.  Of course this would not happen if the fucking dogs owner wasn't bent over,  kecks down,  with Pedigree Chum smeared all over his shitpipe.

That would look cracking on a T-Shirt.

Me and my lad( there are only us 2 in the house ) had the same bullshit

There are 4 of us at ours. Can it be right wasting that much paper on every leaflet? Nah, one per household, surely?

If the corporation tax rise makes a few of the mega cunts fuck off it'll be really good news for small businesses.

I'd imagine if you ran a cafe in a town you'd be praying that the raise persuaded Starbucks to cunt off.

Exactly. I love the small independent Dutch koffie places (spelt that way rather than the weed selling coffee shops) and have never been in any of the chain coffee shops. It was disappointing when Costa and that opened as the country resisted them for years.

Tree hugging looney lefty.

Seriously though, sending even one is a waste of paper. Who reads these things and gets influenced by them? We're a week away from Election Day, with a choice as stark as there is this time surely anyone with the intention of voting has made their mind up anyway?

Edit: I appreciate that in Scotland there might be a little bit more to think about but still, this kind of shit goes straight in the bin along with clothes collection bags and Dominos menus.
