Based on that logic we should offer Seedorf a contract as well. Are people serious about this? It was a exhibition game, a 58 year old scored one goal and could've had a hat trick ffs.

Gerrard would still be our best player to this day, mate. Hell, even when he'll be 50 he'll be better than anyone we'll have. That's how good he is.

We're going to dig deep and beat them. I liked the team posted on the previous page:

Mignolet

Clyne Matip Lovren Milner

Can Wijnaldum

Mane Firmino Coutinho

Origi

Still lots of question marks, but it's the best we can do.

Will the boys from Brazil be dead on their feet after the travel?

Will Origi perk up a bit? Hopefully he remembers his injury against Everton and it prompts him to get angry. Everton wouldn't like him when he gets angry....

OK, I'm going into The Hulk monologue now. Time to sign off.

Edit: if Henderson is fit again he plays. All of a sudden it looks a little better.

I'm serious. He'd still be a reasonable option if we're down to the bare bones, which we pretty much are in midfield. Scholes did pretty well coming out of retirement at a similar age, can't see why Gerrard couldn't do the same.

Nice to see Bobby Brown Shoes plays all three Tottenham players and Mingolet for the majority of the game against Russia last night but only gives Lukaku a 10 minute run out...

Still can't defend a lead mind as they draw from being 3-1 up, god I do miss him

At this rate Sturridge could be the fittest player we have.

Well, he's the most rested player we have so you'd think he's raring to go and being held back by force by the medical team.
