Should have pissed it. Played ok but our finishing was fucking appalling. City, for the money they've spent and the assemblage of coked up speed merchants they have,  are a fucking shambles. Must be their manager struggling to impose his style on them, but, as our media are so quick to point out, it's not Pep's team. Didn;t hear that excuse roiled out for Klopp last season.

Cunt of a referee too. Otamendi and that Fernandino committed countless fouls and went unbooked. Shithouse fucking Oliver.

Can't be arsed listening to Sky's line ups of fucking has beens talking utter bilge.

What has happened to Raheem. I was certain he was on his way to becoming one of the best players in the world. Sane looks a brighter prospect at the moment.

Failure to learn the rules of football certainly a part of it plus he is a bit scared of getting kicked,

20 points out of 30 against the top 6. Klopp knows his beans. Wish we had a striker and Sakho wasn't late to a few team dinners.

Encouraging performance from Klopp against Pep who's seen as the best and most inventive tactician in the game today.

I don't think anyone can deny 1-1 was a fair reflection of that game. Both sides missed some absolute sitters in what was a pretty open game. Sterling's miss was a given even though Milner did catch his leg just as he was about to spoon it wide anyway. Silva, Sterling and Aguero all had really presentable chances, as did Firmino and Mane. Mane's wasn't a penalty either as his own leg caught the City defender and completely unbalanced him. Nothing the CIty defender (Otamendi?) could do there. Lallana though? Bloody hell, he completely took his eye of the ball there.

The penalty we got was the correct call as after initially playing Firmino onside, Clichy had to go through the Liverpool man to try and win the ball back. Milner despatched the spot kick with ease.

For City, Aguero did what Aguero does. He's great at making that run in between the centre backs, and it was an excellent ball to him in fairness. So quick and direct that our defenders couldn't deal with it.

Toure's yellow card? I don't think he went in to hurt Can deliberately but it was reckless and caught the German in the chest. It could easily have been a straight red on another day.

All in all, a fair result that doesn't do much for either side. We probably needed the 3 points more than they did given how they and the other sides currently in the top 6 all have a game or two in hand to us. We've not looked inferior to any of those sides in the league this season but it's our displays against the lesser lights that have been our Achilles' heel.

Point on today about how Man city play, this is how you beat deep lying defences, another genuine winger on the left and left footer overlapping. Drop coutinho into midfield. Cutbacks are how you score against your bus parkers.

You mean having proper wingers getting to the bye line,  Cant do that easily playing a back 4 and expecting the full backs to provide the width,  Back three with wing-backs is my preference. Works for Chelsea
