It’s amazing how much more enjoyable football is when the Reds aren’t ruining it. Our win over Arsenal might not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but at least it made Match of the Day worth watching for once.

Swansea and Burnley were involved in a great game at the Liberty Stadium. For a while it looked as though Burnley were going to get their first away win of the season but they were pegged back late on and lost in stoppage time. Never mind lads, there’s always this weekend…

Llorente put Swansea in front with a great header but Burnley levelled from the spot through Gray, even though it was a Burnley player that had handled in the Swansea box. Anthony Taylor has had a right Jon Walters with that one, but that can happen when you’ve been on all week bender in Marbella on your stag do. Imagine if that had been a player who’d been on the ale all week and then produced a performance like that.

What annoys me about it is that Taylor is crap even when he has all his wits about him and has had a full week to prepare. He’s not good enough to be pulling this kind of stunt, and his mistake could have had huge consequences for Swansea at the end of the season if they hadn’t turned the game around and picked up all three points.

The equaliser gave Burnley momentum and Gray’s second of the game looked like it might give them the points, but Swansea are made of much sterner stuff since Clement arrived and they hit back with goals from Olsson and another great Llorente header to win it. In fairness he may have pushed the defender but Dyche has some balls on him complaining about that decision considering the penalty his side had been awarded.

Llorente is unstoppable in the air when the delivery is right, and it’s easy to see why Conte wanted him as a Plan B for Chelsea in January. He’s a right suave looking bastard too.
