While our bunch of fucking gutless cowards were inflicting more misery upon us by losing at Hull, the rest of the big boys continued picking up points. Except Arsenal of course, it was another miserable weekend for them. They’re almost as spineless as our lot.

Chelsea made short work of them at Stamford Bridge, although their opening goal was somewhat dubious as Alonso went right through Bellerin’s face with his elbow to head the ball in.

The Arsenal Fan TV crew had been steaming at Wenger playing Gabriel over Bellerin in their midweek loss to Watford. The Spaniard was back against Chelsea but Gabriel would have won that header. Maybe Arsene knows something after all?

Love how loads of people are just dismissing the notion that it was a foul though, presumably just because they want to push the “Arsenal are soft” narrative. Arsenal are soft, but that was a fucking foul all day. The angle behind the goal shows Alonso’s elbow hit Bellerin square on the jaw before he made contact with the ball. Since when has that not been a foul?

I can understand the ref not spotting it in real time, but if you’ve seen the angle from behind the goal and still say it’s not a foul, have a word with yourself because chances are you’re only saying that because it’s Arsenal and “they don’t like it up em”. To add insult to injury, Bellerin didn’t know what day it was and had to be subbed.

If Arsenal can consider themselves a little unfortunate on the opener, their defending on Chelsea’s second goal was so fucking weak it was just like watching us. Koscielny should have fouled Hazard but didn’t. Cocquelin should have fouled him two or three times but he actually did everything possible to avoid it and ended up embarrassing himself by falling over and letting Hazard run through to score.

Fabregas came off the bench to make it 3-0 after a howler by Cech, who was ropey as fuck all day. Of course Giroud then came off the bench to grab his now customary stoppage time goal, but it was a terrible day for the Gunners, and especially for my boy “Club Shop Ty” who had his hat robbed by some bullying cunt. Look at how upset the little fella was, it’s heartbreaking.

City signed Gabriel Jesus in the summer mate. They'd always intended to bring him over to Manchester in January.

But yes, yet again we failed to bolster our squad in January. That did for us in January 2009 and January 2014 when on both occasions we were in the title mix. It might well have done for us this season too.

Point still stands. We could have done a deal in September to get someone over in January.
