His lay off for wijnaldum and Mane running into the space he vacated was text book.

 

That was the highlight of his play today but he never stopped and that's why the fans were chanting his name.

 

Today we were at our best and that's firmino through the middle and one two or all of Mane Coutinho and Lallana benefitting from his graft, skill and cleverness.

Just need to kick back on now and with longer periods of rest between games now hopefully we can recapture the intensity and mentality we had during the start of the season and start smashing teams again!

Standing on the near post would do that, plus it gives the player more options should the ball go underneath the wall as he can actually move his body more.

With Mane cutting them to sheds we looked the team we were a couple of months back,
