Summer 2017 Transfer Thread

I think injuries were the problem - without them we were fine. Not the same as the squad not being big enough.

But I think that is all moot - as, last season with injuries was a test. This year we have more games and need more players. No guarantee we won't get injuries, no guarantees that we will - but surely a couple more first team players is a necessity?

Personally - i'd have two centre-halves and leave the midfielder!

You're right. Our threadbare squad didn't have Klopp scrambling to sign players this window. Are you saying our squad depth was't a problem last season, with less games?

What nonsense.

It should be "fewer games" not "less games".

Last season could have gone a hell of a lot better if we had better depth in our squad. This doesnt seem to be rectified this year either: we still only have 1 decent LB and RB, and just 2 decent CBs. And of course both the decent LB, Clyne, and his understudy Gomez (which isnt even a natural LB) are now both injured.

A central midfielder will not be bought (apparently Keita was the only one on the list, what happened with the "long list of targets for each position"??). And buying a top quality striker is out of the question - why buy another one, after all we have paper made players such as Sturridge and Ings just waiting to be injured again! Apparantly Sturridge have never been better in better form than what he is right now! Fuck me, with descriptions like that I'll give him a month before he's broken again.

And oh, Origi couldnt play the last game because of a new injury. And Firminho? Sure, decent player, but not a typical striker/goal scorer, and he can't play every 3 days can he? Recipe for injury that.

Grim shit, really.

That is just a lie!

Nothing more.

I would like to know who does that!

Bin dipping yes, but for sweets?

Reminds me of the homeless in town when they get given cakes and stuff from the public - I can't help but think it isn't really giving them a balanced diet!

More balanced than heroin or diamond white I would imagine.
