That Dalbert story reeks of agent-talk... especially considering just before the story being peddled was that Arsenal were after him.  Guess someone fucked up and forgot they just got Kolasinac and they had to come up with an alternative at short-notice...

A lot of people on Twatter are convinced Rooney is coming back to Everton.

I hope he does, he will be their world class signing smashing their wage structure on £200k pw, just for them to realise 20 mins into his debut that he is fucked. A busted flush no less, and we of all people know how hard it can be to get rid is one of them.

Once a blue rinse always a blue rinse.

There was something on Twitter about him attending a spin class in some new gym on Smithdown Road.

The comments are "bet it was an old bike".

"Wayne likes paying to ride bikes"

So we have given up on Van Djik already! That is some laudation for a player of that age though. Let's get him.

Doubt it, maybe klavan getting bombed out along with sakho? Preparing for van dijk, if it happens at all, to go well.into August.

Would be nice if we could get done whatever we do so players can have a pre season together..don't like idea of throwing a defence together late in August and straight into season with no pre season together.

No excuse to me not to get things done in time.

We need about 4-5 first teamers in and weve signed 1 so far. Given how much hard work we usually make of negotiations ill be amazed if we get 3 in and once again go into a season under manned and rue our luck.

Every fucking window we seem to target players who we can't or arnt willing to go and get, it's fucking bollocks.

(Please don't anyone say the window has only just opened it means fuck all )

If we haven't as looks likely got all our main signing in by the time we head off for these games in Asia then for me it is then a struggle to get them integrated properly and to gel...

Klopp was saying only last week how pre season is where all the foundations are laid and how important it is - surely you need to have what you intend to work with in for as much of pre season as possible.

So that said I would expect a lot of stuff to happen in the next two weeks - if it does not then it is time to worry IMO

I've been worried for a while as it seems to be the same dance every window, with the exception of January when we don't even pretend to buy anyone

I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt at the moment - only because I don't think Klopp would stand for anymore messing around and not adding what we need and in good time this window......The next couple of weeks will be interesting

Nothing to do with us, but I see in today's transfer news that Nottingham Forest have a player called Britt Assombalonga.

That's quite a name. And unit.

Hang on, I wouldn't ever dream of defending FSG or the shambles of a club we have in general, but you can't just say it means fuck all that only 5 days of 60 have passed in the transfer window! That's just mental, you mental.

    • Liverpool Football Club would like to update supporters on ticket refunds following the UK government's confirmation of support for the potential of a return of professional football. As we informed you on April 20, all supporters who have purchased tickets from LFC for any of our remaining four Premier League home games will receive a refund for the cost of their ticket(s). Refunds will also be provided to those supporters who have purchased a ticket for our away game against Everton and/or the Liverpool FC Women’s game against Everton Women at Goodison Park.   The general principles of the refund process are set out below: Season ticket holders and official Members Season ticket holders will receive a full pro rata refund for all remaining home games, while Members who have purchased tickets on a match-by-match basis will receive a refund for any of the matches that they have purchased tickets for.  Seasonal and matchday hospitality  Hospitality season ticket holders will receive a full pro rata refund for all remaining home games. Those supporters who have purchased tickets for matchday hospitality for any remaining home fixtures will also be refunded.  All other supporters with tickets Fans who do not fall into one of the above groups but have purchased a match ticket for any of the remaining fixtures will receive a full refund. Any fans who have purchased tickets for LFC Foundation’s charity match between Liverpool FC Legends and Barça Legends, which was scheduled to take place at Anfield in March, will be contacted separately in due course. We are currently working through the most effective process to issue refunds given the complexities and considerations of the various payment methods used when tickets were purchased.  We will be contacting each affected ticket holder during the course of the next 14 days to provide more information on the refund process based on the category of ticket they have purchased. We ask that all supporters wait to receive further correspondence from the club and refrain from contacting us regarding refunds in the meantime. We would like to thank supporters for their patience and understanding while we carry out the refund procedure.   Finally, our priority remains the health and wellbeing of our people, the local community and all supporters during this challenging time and we hope that you all are staying safe and healthy.
    • I think Mane is/was much more likely to leave.  Salah has made a move to a "big club" (yes, it's Chelsea, but they'd won the CL only 2 years previous) and have it all go wrong, so I think he'll be more wary of moving when he's on to a really good thing already.  Mane though might see this as his only chance to play for Real or Barca (that's still a thing isn't it)
    • I listened to the podcast, I thought they were pretty much all in favour of the restart. Custis raised (and not unreasonably imo) the idea of what you do if you start and need to stop again and perhaps this should be sorted before we start playing. Personally I disagree with that as if someone gets "safe" the have a vested interest in getting the season stopped.
    • It amazes me just how much emotional effort rival fans put into the hatred of us. Yes I hate our rivals but nowhere near to the degree of obsession they appear to have for us.    Imagine being so consumed by hate for a fucking sports team and their fans that you even ruin christmas by wearing a blue santa suit ffs or having a lethal fear of the colour red.    You just know that even when their not talking about us it consumes them when they are doing something else as I bet my house that something will happen and the first thing they will relate it to is us.
