Griezman to united would be a big signing for them. They were always going to spend

Not arsed about attacking players under Mourinho. I'd be more scared if they bought Godin and Bonucci than Griezmann and James Rodriguez.

Nah, they're already the second most solid team in the league despite their overall shitness. What we don't want is that they start signing really good attacking players that can get them scoring more goals.

He'd be a great squad option with plenty of experience. He's a very good player

We are going to need a big squad and every player we sign isn't going to be a world beater.

Agree. Not sure he'd like to be a bit part player, but he'd be a completely different option to what we have. Smart footballer.

unfortunelty that's what's going to happen regardless if they win or not on Wednesday night they'll spend a shit load under that cunt.

I, for one, want to see the return of Code72. The only reason he was forced out was because of those tits Sugar Ape and Numero. The forum needs a bit more spice next season. Maybe a summer-only reprieve for Nightcat would also be in order.

Fuck off Code

They will spend loads and they will be better next year. We just have to improve at least as much.

Fuck them. Concentrate on what we do, not what anyone else does.

Word has it though, he's put a bid for Huth at Leicester as an extra striking option.

How much would he cost? 20m? For a player that wouldn't get in the 1st 11? No thanks. I want players who will strengthen the 1st 11, the player they replace can be the squad players.

Unfortunately £20m gets you a squad player in this day and age. Starting XI players will be £30+ we'll break our transfer at least twice this summer.

Exactly mate. If the likes of Wijnaldum, Origi and Henderson are squad players next year we will be in a much better place than we are now.

I think you missed my joke that Spurs had already signed him back in 2012.

Apparently they are back in for him. He'd give them another very good option- would rather have him here. Obviously price would play a part, but that would apply regardless of who we go for- at least we know he's good.

As I say, its not the signing that we all excited about, but as we've seen this season, if we dont build a squad that gives us a subs bench of decent options and the ability to rotate, we will fall short.

"Gylfi Sigurdsson has reportedly turned down a £100,000-a-week offer from Everton after Swansea agreed to sell their star midfielder for £25m.

The Icelandic set-piece specialist – with nine goals and 13 assists in this Premier League season – is reportedly viewed as a replacement for Ross Barkley by Everton manager Ronald Koeman.

Sigurdsson clearly deserves more than a relegation struggle after an outstanding season, and he obviously feels he deserves a significant pay rise from the £80,000 a week he earns in Wales.

The Times claims that he has asked for £130,000 from Everton after being given permission by Swansea to talk to the Toffees after a £25m fee was agreed.

Tottenham have been linked with a return for Sigurdsson but Everton are probably a perfect fit for a player not quite good enough for a top-six club."
