Wijnaldum Can Henderson Lovren Sturridge Origi

You are dismissed.

We need completely new guts. With more specific roles.

Is Ings still injured or what?

Not that hes the answer to anything, just curious.

Ings last injury put him out for the rest of the season mate.

Henderson should be pushed up a bit. One of the two more advanced central midfielders.

Fuck it. Play Lucas as the holder. He definitely picks up a yellow there tonight and it stays 0-0 (not that that matters that much).

Just buy a new dm. Lucas hasn't been the answer since he got injured at Chelsea over 5 years ago.

We can't play this way without leaking like colander at the back.

We've been playing the same system for 5 years under 2 managers. If we don't score we usually lose.

180 minutes against Southampton and we can't score.  The players are completely unable to switch to another mode, At the risk of going Allardyce more work on set pieces required . Stop trying pick passes through packed defenses; play with more width, make more runs at defenders , win fks around the box. In short mix it up a bit

Holder wasnt in Rodgers vocabulary and it doesnt appear to be in Jurgens.

The minute we stop advancing we are vulnerable, we have to pulverise the oppo when/if we are on top, if not theres always a risk we will get suckered like tonight.

He wants all the midfield to hold, and to all attack.

He's wringing 10% more out of them than they are capable of sustaining, and that's why we are out on our feet. Mentally and physically.

And that's why its fairly piss poor to not have any new faces in Jan. Holding mid or otherwise.

We were on a down slope before Mane went to Africa.

More Matip and Mane's. Less Henderson's no Can and Sturridge's.

Basically more players who fit right in. We have enough honest Joe's like Henderson need more quality and specialists. No lazy show ponies like Can and Sturridge. And ditch shite like Moreno.

Klopp knows all this surely and it all must be addressed before the next season starts or why bother. 3 profitable transfer windows on the run. Awaits last minute link to a top player and subsequent failure to land.

A really disappointing, if not unexpected result.

At no stage tonight did I feel that we were going to score let alone go through.

I have to say that the way Klopp has handled the absence of Mane has left an awful lot to be desired.

We knew he was going the ACN even before we bought him but still have no ideas of how to play without him.

Lallana, Sturbridge, Original and Firmino tonight have all been tried in his position and none of worked, it has just unbalanced the team and further weakened other positions.

To my mind the most natural choice out the squad would be Milner. Obviously no where near as quick as Mane but he works his bollocks off and can produce good delivery with a moving ball.

While we all know Moreno's limitations he is at least naturally left sided and can get the ball in early and would give the team some desperately needed pace. If Klopp just doesn't trust him at all, which does appear to be the case, it just show the folly of not buying a left back in the summer.

I said my piece about the Henderson/Can axis of average after the Swansea game so won't labour the point but I just wish Klopp could see what most Others see.

Many have lamented our lack of transfer activity and unfortunately each passing game is proving the many right.

I think it' gonna take pretty much the full first team to get past Wolves on Saturday as I fear a team of youngsters won't cut it.

It's been a really disheartening few weeks.

It's not only Mane we're missing. Going forward we need a couple more like him in addition to a midfield general.

But where is the Movement that became our hallmark when we made monkeys of many a team? It's sideways and back now rather than the progressive forward and bang... a goal. I wonder if Klopp realizes that. We just don't have a clue what to do with the ball in the final third. Pathetic.
