Can't wait for this one. In a way, form goes out the window. When we were flying earlier in the season and they were struggling, I really thought we would win by a few. What happened? They made sure they got their act together and ground out one of the most defensive displays they've ever had against us to make sure they left Anfield with a point. Small time, no doubt. But on the other hand, it was a sign that we couldn't just do what we wanted, and they weren't quite dead yet.

 

So fast forward to this one and they have to be very confident. They are on a great run and we are struggling, tired, and short of depth.

 

The way I see it is this is a perfect opportunity for us! They will fancy their chances and will surely come to play this time. Meanwhile, after some iffy displays we will surely want to put in a performance and put some distance between us with a win.

 

Hopefully Matip, Henderson and Coutinho will all start and all do well and we come home with all three points and start thinking happy thoughts again about our prospects for the season.

 

Come on, game on. Can't wait!
