Burns is obviously a nice lad but as far a boxing goes he's shite and well over the hill. He's been in nothing but boring fights for the last few years and that's coming from someone who used to think he was decent. You only like him because he supports Celtic.

Not as well as I know your mum.

 

Nah, there's been plenty shown about him on telly and stuff over the years about how down to earth he is and him keeping his job at JJB Sports when he was a world champion. My point still stands though. He's a shadow of what he was and he was never gonna be one of the greats anyway. Unless you support Celtic.

Burns and Crolla strike me as similar type of blokes. Both have exceeded their natural talent in the sport.

This place is going to the dogs, not one comment about Linares' girlfriend / wife who strolled in with him as he arrived.

I thought it was one of the dolly birds with round numbers.

 

Might have been closer if he'd banged her immediately before the fight.

No shame in losing twice to Linares, it wasn't too long ago Crolla was getting beat in Prizefighter.  Linares / Garcia is the big fight isn't it, Garcia would win for me though.  From what Ant was saying to me on Sunday morning, it'll be a move up and fight with Burns, as opposed to a stay at 135 for Turbo.
