What achievements?

His main legacy is putting Dutch darts on the world stage and presumably influencing/inspiring a whole generation of players. Four BDO world titles when it was actually a decent tournament. Beating Taylor in 2007 PDC final in arguably the greatest game there's ever been.

Crowd played a massive part in that.

Yeah, they can be real bell ends. I imagine if they heard British players getting stick at the hockey abroad they'd go mental about it.

She has that Chris Dobey in the next round, that's a winnable match if she keeps her form going. She hits a lot of high scores and doesn't flap on the checkouts, so anything is possible. No matter what happens now she's made a name for herself in the sport and will be sorted for life.

I'm just glad she never beat Barneveld, I think that would have seriously tipped him over the edge.

Played darts in the equivalent of county league over here (although admittedly the quality was less than the Uk at the time) and we won the second division, straight back down the next season like. Anyway, a few women were involved in certain teams and they were always hard to play against. Lost a few best of three against them and there was no worse feeling. You'd slaughter them and then just go to shit on the doubles, then bang....the fuckers would hit the first double they had to go for.
