Bournemouth not too hit at the back and on their day can cause anyone problems.

 

We should win this but we should have won against Burnley on paper.

 

 

It's a bit of a myth we're shaky at the back. We've allowed the least shots on goal per game out of any other team in the league. Yes, we can have a bit of a wobble at the back when put under real pressure, but the same applies to every single team in this league as well. Seriously, we aren't that bad defensively at all, considering how offensively we play the game.

Our starting XI lacks a bit of creativity. No Matip to bring it out from the back, no Lallana in midfield and no Coutinho further forward. We could look a little workmanlike today.

But I'm a lot less sure of a win and a decent performance that I would have been had Lallana and Matip been playing.  Time for Can to get his  thumb out of his arse and try to stay focussed for 90 minutes, time for Wijnaldum to impose himself rather than be the other passive midfielder, and a golden opportunity for Origi to cement his place with a brace.
