Welsh so no worries there

Uh-oh, better hope he plays in a competitive game for Wales before the FA get their claws in :

And his fine work at the Reds' Kirkby academy has translated into appearances for Wales at under-17 and under-19 level, although he is still eligible to play for England.

The Three Lions may have their work cut out to tempt him, however, as Woodburn has said he wants to "replicate" the feats of Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey.

BBC live still has Newcastle having won 1-1 on penalties.

Seriously, how fucking hard is it to get right?

I know, I went to bed without knowing the Newcastle score, so looked on my phone to see and was totally confused when I saw that!!

Proper result for me that. Our youngest ever scorer, we got through to yet another semi final and I became a Grandad for the first time just after the game finished.

Proper buzzing this morning !

Bet you can't wait for the grandkid to make their Liverpool debut next week.

Congrats, pal! Can we assume that the baby's name will be Woodburn?

I thought can was the best player on the pitch last night.

Lucas played well but let a few bounce he shouldn't have.

Stewart was as poor as I've seen him. Reminds me of Charlie Adam in that he seems to have let the ball get to far away from him after he controls it and can lose possession.

Ejaria still has a long way to go. He's 19 or something and he did ok but didn't get the feeling he's going to be a fixture in the first team any time soon.
