One game away from the semi final and a good chance to win our first trophy in five years, going with a team of kids and rejects like Lucas and Mignolet would be beyond stupid at this stage.

Strong team, get the job done then give minutes to the promising youngsters.

That team got us past Spurs.

Hopefully Lallana and Sturridge are fit enough to play, if not I'd keep Mane in there.  After the last few games he needs a goal so I'd keep him going until he gets it.

We'll never know.

That's everyone who has been involved back to September but didn't start yesterday.

If sturridge was fit he'd be in the team and it would look much stronger. Can would probably be warming the bench if Lallana was fit and would get a run out in this one.

As it stands though if we were to rest the starters we'd have a very inexperienced side out.

Harry Wilson is nowhere near, is he? Professional reserve skipper. This century's Mike Marsh. Are Jordan Williams and Brannagan fit? Should get a look in if they are

Wilson has missed the last couple of 23's games through injury, though he should be back for this evening's game against Derby. Still only 19, so he's got time on his side. Been good for the 23s this season so far.

Jordan Williams is still finding his fitness after months out, he'll not be involved with the first team squad for a while yet, I'd imagine.

Brannagan has been in and out for the 23s this season and has been played in various positions when he's been selected. Can't see him getting a shout for tomorrow, more likely to be involved for the 23s tonight.
