It will be interesting to see how Ojo and Gomez progress. Ojo could be a back up to Mane, but he's probably not quite there yet, as the drop in quality, say when Mane is off to the ACN, might be too great. But on the other hand, if we sign someone else in January who is a younger prospect, as is looking likely, I wonder if that blocks Ojo somewhat?

 

Sort of similar with Gomez too. He's had a long injury so he's only just starting to play a bit, but. It in the he first team yet. But if we sign another central defender, again, what does that do for Joe's future prospects?

Bit scarred from last season to be honest to be 2-0, Allen puts it in the net to make it 3-0, only for it to be chalked off, to then saving a penalty to keep it at 2-0 and Benteke missing a 1-1 to make it 3-1 to end up losing really, really hurt me. That one took a while to get over to be honest. However, they're without Koeman, Wanyama, Mane and Pelle this time around which is of great benefit to us coupled with the fact we look miles better.

The international break came at the worst possible time for us and really has disrupted our rhythm. Our performance against United should be a lesson to Jurgen and even then we had more time to train as that game was a Monday night. Obviously a bit of a concern how far Phil and Roberto have travelled but it's way too big a risk to leave them out of the side. They're playing out of their skin and will be flying home first class, they both have to play. Suarez never even considered the idea of being rested after an international break, the points are just too important at this stage of the season. Same team as Watford for me with, Gini, Sturridge and Origi all to come off the bench. I expect a really tough game and feel this is a big test for the defence, who have been receiving some plaudits about the lack of chances we're conceding, yet we still manage to always concede. I can see it being one of the days where our keeper and back 4 have to dig deep. 2-1 Reds.
