aRdja's deal is that he doesn't rate Firmino and he wanted us to sell him and buy Gotze to replace him. I thought karius had a very good game today. Could do fuck all about the goal to be fair to him, but made some good solid saves earlier when called upon. At least one of those would have went in was it mignolet in goal.

I think it's a common American thing, too. I certainly hear it around NFL when talking about an Over/Under.

 

Basically it's setting a line, where anything more than that is one result, anything less is the other.

 

Because the goals come on whole numbers, if 'the line' was set on a whole number, you'd have 3 outcomes - higher, lower and equal.

 

Hence setting the line at a .5, so you just have higher or lower outcomes.
