Yeah, I get that but I don't see why it should be a yellow card offence. I'm just not one for accepting arbitrary bullshit with no purpose.

It's a stupid offence, yes. Knowing it's a yellow card offence and then proceeding to remove your shirt is the act of a stupid selfish player. He was lucky not to get booked for a later challenge, one that could have seen him sent off.

Taking off shirts after scoring because of the yellow card rule is one of my pet hates. That it should or should not be a yellow is another discussion.

We weren't wearing that kit during the game?

Hope your hangover isnt too bad

But that picture isnt from the Palace game after match interviews. They had the yellow snotty kit still on.

Edit must have changed after 1st interview with BT.

Apparently Firmino's goal should have been ruled out because he had his shirt off before the ball crossed the line.

The ref was probably blinded by the combination of teeth and bright yellow shirt waving. Bobby literally played a blinder.

I'd already watched our game but wanted to catch up with MOTD and get their views on Saturday's games, especially ours, no surprise to hear Danny Murphy spouting cack, although he wasn't as bad as he usually is.

Anyway, link for MOTD if anyone wants to watch. http://lasthl.com/bbc-match-of-the-day-29102016-full-show/

He's a know nothing prick.

And Rodgers wanted to bring him in as a coach!

He's in a long line of ex players from us who turned out to be bitter gob shites. He's a boring cunt to boot.

In respect of Palaces 2nd goal it should be noted that that passage of play began with a free kick awarded against Bobby Firmino. That decision was outrageous, never a free kick in a million years.

As long as Firmino keeps watching the defenders instead of the ball whenever he goes for a header in the middle of the field, he runs the risk of conceding a freekick. Not sure what the actual rule is for it, refs aren't keen on it anyway.. Only surprise is that he keeps doing it, and that the refs aren't blowing more frequently against him.

I'd say there is a decent case for timewasting though. Realistically though its because the sponsors lose 10 seconds of valuable advertising time in front of the tv cameras.
