If Spurs have any sense, and their manager clearly does, they'll have this low down on their list of priorities.

Two reserve teams, I reckon, with home advantage seeing us through.

Judging by Pochettino's quotes this isn't really a competition he wants to be in. We do and We should win. I'd like to see Ings and Alexand Arnold start but I hope we don't put a reserve side out. Never easy against these.

Should be in the shitness of modern football thread that we are even talking about a less than full strength side for this..shit that we as fans have bought into the idea.

We have won hardly anything for ages and we should be full pelt at a comp that ends in Feb and when we aren't in Europe.

Would tend to agree with most of the above. While I can understand the intrigue in seeing how the young'uns and the back-up players fare, we only have three competitions to play for and we should be going all out trying to win the lot.

Wijnaldum will start I reckon. I just hope it's not at the expense of Lallana who is probably our most important midfielder if not player right now. Think it will be a strong-ish side with Mignolet, Klavan, Moreno, Origi and one of Stewart/Grujic/Lucas coming into the starting eleven.

Why bother going so strong earlier in the tournament if we aren't going to give ourselves the best chance of going through?

Said the same last year before both West Ham games, makes no sense to me.

Hopefully Spurs send out a worse mish mash side and we get through, I'd quite like to see the club lift this trophy.  Something we used to do regular.
