Lallana looked very dangerous when he came on, despite him playing in midfield. It didn't really need a Suarez, it just needed the front three to not be continually giving the ball away and making bad decisions.

Lallana should've come on for either Firmino or Mane.. Firmino wasted that beautiful flick from Coutinho with a heavy touch before he came off.. Sturridge would've done better.

We really fell for Mourinho's shit tonight. Such a bizarre game, I genuinely lost count of how many times we gave the ball away in the first 30. No composure and panicked, however, a point is certainly not the end of the world but West Brom are going to try the exact same shit no doubt. On we move Reds.

I'm not sure Sturridge would have got anywhere near it.  The flick actually took Firmino wider than he would have liked and allowed the defender to get back.  There was no way our Daniel was getting on that.  He wouldn't have even tried.  It would have been a shoulder shrug, a dirty look, and United would have walked it out of defence.

Going by his first touch before he was rightly removed he wouldn't have.

There was a time when Sturridge could have played on top for any team in the world, now hes being replaced by Lallana (formation) and it completely changes our whole team to the better. Sad times for the striker and he should be dropped for someone usefull.

Unbelievable how we instantly became more fluent when he went off. He's not suited to the style Klopp wants, and he's not the player he once was. That said I'm also a little surprised that he seems to give it a go and keep working hard. If he didn't I don't think Klopp would pick him at all, so he must be doing something right. So maybe there's a way back for him, but I have to say I doubt it.

He was never THAT good. He was always good of a good day, with the potential of becoming a 25 goal a season guy - but he never realised that potential.

He's not good enough for a Liverpool team that's looking to re-establish themselves in the top 4 and win trophies. It's a shame, but Klopp needs consistent high performance (goals), and Sturridge can't offer that.

I think it was his heavy touch that gave Valencia(?) time to catch up with him. I'm not saying Sturridge had a good game, but i thought Mane and Firmino were worse, and the stats backed me up this time .

Sturridge at one end and Karius at the other severely limited our options,  A striker with rigor mortis and a keeper that can't catch not ideal ,  Mig should have played and Sturridge shouldn't

Sturridge was worse than both of them, it's all about opinions I know so happy to point out yours in this case is wrong.
