I'm confused by Klopp's comments on Sakho (on the Offal). I think he's suggesting that he's not getting games because he's not match fit because he's not been getting games.

Yea, he's not playing because he's been out for a long long time?

Maybe it's just PR to save saying "I don't like him/his attitude"? Maybe he means he's not ready to jump into a big high pressure game? But if that's the case, surely tonight would be the best time to get some game time.

I doubt that Klopp would act this way. If anything how he is acting with Sakho is pretty much consistent with how he treats all of the players. If you have been out you need to train for quite a while before you get a look in. Can is no different and we know how he insisted that Sturridge put in a run of sessions before he got a look in.

I've only just realised we're playing Derby, not in a derby. Not the brightest tool in the lunchbox.

Good to see Karius will be starting, hopefully the beginning of the end for Mongnolet

As good as Karius may be/become his only meaningful action for us was letting the ball skip under his foot and almost concedeing a goal in pre-season.

I'd wanna see alot more of him before automatically handing him the number 1 spot.

“Loris had an advantage in pre-season and he could not use it because of the injury. Simon came in this moment back from the national team and did a brilliant job."

Thought this from Klopp was a bit telling.

Rodgers wouldnt have had this issue. He'd have played them both.
