I remember seeing something on Revista years ago when him and dos Santos came through at Barca in which it basically said whilst they are both extremely talented and are 2 of the best youth players Barca have ever produced there was only a chance of dos Santos making it at Barca but Bojan will 100% succeed there. He hasn't really kicked on from being a 18 year old, he's been to quite a few big club and has ended up at Stoke for a reason, he looks good on MOTD but he's not very good, so definitely not.

Same here, but they don't want the so called little teams having a chance to strengthen outside of the transfer windows. It's stupidity, the current system just gives the moneybag clubs even more of an advantage.

I'd rather just have one window, in the summer, and not have it overlap with the actual season. 

 

The problem with being able to sign players at any point is that it'd enable the financial dopers to just buy whenever they had a few injuries and unsettle rivals' players at any stage of the season. Leicester would've been picked clean last year long before they took the title.

agreed would also force teams into using there youth system instead of buying there way out of things in the january window
