Pedro Chirivella has joined Go Ahead Eagles on loan for the remainder of the season.

Offal Report

Liverpool FC can confirm that midfielder Pedro Chirivella has joined Dutch outfit Go Ahead Eagles on loan until the end of the season.

The Spanish teenager, a regular for the club's U23s this term, will spend the remainder of the 2016-17 campaign gaining experience in the Eredivisie.

Chirivella joined the Reds' Academy from Valencia in 2013, and made his senior debut in a Europa League meeting with Bordeaux last season.

He has since clocked up five first-team appearances, and penned fresh terms at Anfield in March.

Good riddance to the shithouse.

Sakho to Southampton would be a good move and I think he could do well there. Is part ex against Van Dijk too much to hope for?

Yes. They are targeting Sakho because Jose Fonte has put in a transfer request and is on his way out. No chance of a swap deal for Van Dijk. The Van Dijk ship has already sailed I fear. He'll end up somewhere like City for Stones-like money. Should have gone in for him before this season, no chance we can afford him now (or would be willing to spend that much on a centre-back even if we could). A Sakho-Fonte swap is probably as good as we can hope for.

Off the field, yes.

On the field, we're challenging with 5 other teams for 4 Champions league places.

We're ok currently in terms of the league table, but we've started to pick up more injuries.

Also our top goalscorer away for a month with crucial games against the Mancs and Chelsea sandwiched in between the 2 Southampton games.

Things can change very quickly if those games go badly and we pick up more injuries.

We are normally 8th roundabout now though but.
