Job done. Sturridge off the mark for the season. Hope can injury isn't serious. Most of our best players proving really injury prone. Can sturridge Origi even Mane and Matip have been out already. Need a bit of luck on that front.

Henderson seems to have the yips, fluffing passes he should be making.

Mane is a freak, went to a Southampton forum after we bought him to see what they made of it. At the time they thought they'd fleeced us for a player that turned up when he felt like it. Returned to the same forum after the Barca/Arsenal games and it was suddenly he'll be off to Real/Barca in a couple of years anyway.

Surprised Ings didn't get any minutes being 3-0 up, I thought he'd get games in the cup.

Glad to be back in the winning habit.

Glad we played well.

Glad we scored plenty of goals.

Glad we played a strong team so they can continue to gel.

But obviously it was only Burton...

The key will be how we do in the Premier League. We all know that when we are good we are very good. But we are so inconsistent, and the Burnley defeat leaves such a bad taste after a promising win at Arsenal. Hopefully, as the team gels and some key players find their feet and find their way into the team, we will become a lot more consistent. If that happens we can set our sights high. But there remains a nagging sense that we can't trust this team yet, and an unexpected bad result is just around the corner. For that feeling to fade, we need to get into a groove and get some results on the board. A win at Spurs would be a nice start.

Klopp said that was the plan with ings but cans injury scuppered any chance.
