I told him I'd do it as it's hardly rocket science.

"That'll void the warranty mate"

You're not my mate you cunt. You and your 4 work mates have sat around playing with each others balls for 20 minutes while I've been waiting here. You could have done the job 4 times over. Wankers.

Anyway it just means a trip up to Belfast on my day off, but fuck it. Big picture, it's no big deal.

Make sure the forks are on the right way. I've only just noticed that the bike I bought for my daughter from Evans cycles has the front forks on back to front.

I don't know who's the biggest idiot, them for putting the forks on wrong or me for not noticing.

I'm doing Amy's Gran Fondo on Sunday, 120km around the Otways and Great Ocean Road.

Here's the course:

Not really looking forward to the second hill, but once at the top of that it should be plain sailing, hopefully.

Hope you stick your legs out at the top of that second hill and go "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" all the way down

Bit of a challenge. I normally do 70 or 80 km on a Sunday morning with a couple of mates, but with a cafe stop half way.

Have put in a couple of 100s in training the last few weeks. Never with that much climbing though.

If you ever attempt 500 miles, I'm told the best thing to do is practise on an exercise bike first.
