You could argue she’d been groomed all her life.

Her upbringing obviously primed her to be receptive to Isis's message.

As I always say, you can't have religious extremism without religion.

White girls get groomed = media concentrate on the ethnicity of the groomers

Except- right-wing media aside- they didn't did they? There was effectively a media black-out during the trials. Since then, the discourse has mainly been around the vulnerability of the victims. I think maybe you're conflating the furore around Tommy Robinson et. al. in the wake of this and what actually happened?

Muslim girls get groomed = media say it's their own fault

Blatant double standards.

There's a difference between grooming for a shared vision of nationhood and grooming for the gratification of the perpetrator though, surely?

LOL, "shared vision".  That just about sums it up.

So am I.

There's a huge difference in those girls being plied with alcohol and drugs and then being passed around a group of men than someone deciding to join a terrorist organisition and get married. I've never bought this excuse that she/they were the victims of some sort of online grooming. I'd be willing to bet the redicalisation started much closer to home.

No difference.  Both are being exploited and manipulated by virtue of their age.

Is there any evidence she was groomed? And if so can the people talking about it to defend this girl produce actual concrete examples of how this grooming took place, instead of generalised pontificating articles that say "she was groomed" and fail to elaborate on it.

She was 15.  That's pretty compelling evidence.

It's not evidence at all.

Is there any actual evidence she was coaxed into the decision she made to move across there & get married by people over the age of 15?
