Transfers summer 2016

Did I see Ajax were interested in Balotelli? That would be respectable. It's a decent league but not the best, and Ajax always play good football. He could go there, turn it around and score a lot of goals, and still have time for another big move or two after that.

Obviously it all depends if he wants to be a footballer.

I reckon his agent just planted that story. He doesn't fit the Ajax criteria at all and even if they did want him it would be on loan with us paying half his wages

So it looks like we are likely to start the season with the hapless duo of Mignolet in goal & Moreno at left back -- a pair that have blighted consecutive seasons.

The alternative is James Milner and Arsenal's reserve keeper from 1998 (NINETEEN NINETY EIGHT).

Supporting this club during the past decade has felt like groundhog day.

Ballotelli is a peculiar player.

Just can't shake the idea that if he went to Madrid and played down the middle he'd score 40 goals a season.

But he's got no intention of being arsed to earn such a move.

He's 100% ego driven, and it consumes him, but if he had a platform like Ronaldo does, a brand, an excuse to be ego driven and play and train in a way that keeps him apart from hilly he rest, then, dunno.

Or it could just be the fact he's actually a bit shit, as well as lazy and thick as fuck.

If he hadn't had the chances he has had in football he'd be living under a bridge somewhere.

Actually scratch that, he wouldn't have the sense to go under a bridge. He'd be standing on a hill somewhere wondering why he was getting wet everytime it rained.
