Transfers summer 2016

There was a decent article in FourFourTwo about Coric a month or two back. Apparently he's had Bayern,Inter, Milan, Man City and Porto bothering him for years but he seems very headstrong and will only join a club that will play him and improve his career. He's had managers personally phoning him.

He joined the Bayern youth camp before Salzburg, Bayern grade all the players, Coric is the only player who scored perfect marks in their history.

He turned down City recently because their aim was to send him out on loan for the season. Oh, and his dream is to play for Barca.

He's naturally a number 10, and you could argue we don't need another, but Coutinho hasn't been setting the world alight and it might do him good to have some competition.

Watched Dortmund's game this afternoon, they're actually not all that great. Still pretty rusty from the look of things. Oh, and Pulisic didn't get on.

I will say one thing - if we really want one of their players, we should just back a truck full of money up to their gate for Weigl. 20 years old and looks for all the world like the second coming of Xabi Alonso. Going to be a tremendous player, already very, very good. Made a huge difference for them when he came on.

If we wait one more summer he'll be far out of our reach, probably is already but I'd go in with a huge offer just to see if it might be possible anyway.

Yeah obviously not gonna happen, but I'm a massive fan. He reminds me more of Didi Hamann than Xabi the way he goes about things. In the second half yesterday, we needed to change the pace of the game, and we had no one to 'direct the traffic' if you like... Weigl is that man.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is close to adding Ante Coric, 19, to his side with the Croatian midfielder set for a medical at Anfield in the next 48 hours. (Daily Star Sunday)

Can he be a makeshift left back if needed? If so I'm in

Unless Borussia Dortmund can be convinced to part company with gifted young winger Unless they persuade Dortmund to sell Christian Pulisic, Liverpool are unlikely to make any further signings prior to Wednesday's transfer deadline.

That would leave the Reds in profit for this window and without the new left-back or defensive midfielder many fans have been calling for.

Pretty unforgivable transfer window this considering the cluster fuck that was the uefa cup final. Same old shit again, sat here holding our dicks while the mancs and Chelsea press on. Doomed to be perpetual also rans.

Starting this season with no recognised first choice striker and with Henderson as captain is a complete joke.
