I don't mind Chocolate Hobnobs, but they wouldn't be my chocolate biscuit of choice. I'm not really a fan of oaty biscuits.

Fucking monster.

The frustrating thing is that practically any of us no-marks on here could have drawn up the correct transfer strategy the day after Sevilla, without being paid millions per year or having UEFA coachng badges coming out of our kazoo.

Get a Goalie, Get a centre half, get a left back, gat a DM, get a couple of wide men.

Once these are sourced then see how much money is left for frills.

Spot on, 90% of the fans could see what needed to be done yet the club/manager have not addressed our weaknesses.Im amazed that after the Sevilla game we haven't signed a dm and are getting rid of the only player who can play that role.

As I said a few weeks ago this is the worst summer window I can remember since Hodgson, even that one wasn't as bad as I was excited about Cole and thought Poulsen would do a job.Normally during the summer Im checking the rumours everyday but this time I have no interest, when we are linked to someone it's embarrassing with players like Sissoko and others.

Barring not signing a left back, I'm actually quite happy with our business. I think Mane will be a revelation here, him, Matip and Karius improve the first XI and I think Wijnaldum will surprise a few, I also think Klavan will really put up a fight for a place. Henderson, Ings and Sturridge are hopefully over their injury problems and if Origi continues to improve at the same rate he should have a cracking season.

We desperately need a left back though, and possibly back up to Clyne.

If we sign that defender and manage to offload two of the worst signings this club has made in Benteke and Balotelli, I'll be reasonably happy.

I mean, just for a start:

Sissoko > Cole > Poulson.

Also, you're using a player we haven't signed as a stick to beat the 'club/manager'.

You're weird.

If only a world renowned manager with a history of success who sees the players day in day out has specific ideas on how he wants to play and what he needs to make that happen had the benefit of the expertise of someone who has no more information on the club than having watched games from the stands/armchair.
