I was shitting my kecks a bit as Matip was still out. Klavan did exceptionally well though. And Lovren. They didn't get a sniff of a chance.

According to the Mirror. Klavan couldn't handle Lukaku at all, and needed Lovren to bail him out.  They then gave him a 7 out of 10 for his performance with the comment " areal match for Lukaku" !

I thought Klavan was excellent last night in a game where he could have wilted.  Balls of steel, and Lukaku barely got a sniff out of him and Lovren.

Klopp knows a defender when he sees one, for sure.
