Much has been made about how we should go for Rodriguez or Hector or some big money left back, but it's not really necessary. What we need is the equivalent of Klavan or Arbeloa - a cheapish player who's capable of playing a solid but unspectacular role. Should be a decent list of players available for £3-8m who could do the job.
