Anyone know anything about this Imamoglu dude who won the election in Istanbul? My cursory googling isn’t telling me a great deal about his political principles.  All I'm getting is a "better than Erdogan" vibe, which is something positive  (although that's a pretty fucking low bar).

Tried to google him myself but it kept taking me to porn hub where some skinny white lad in odd trainers is ploughing some fat German woman while she is asleep. Not sure that policy brings much to the table

More than 47% of the votes counted - Supreme Election Council

The head of Turkey's Supreme Election Council, Ahmet Yener, has made a very short statement to journalists in front of the council's building, giving the latest official results.

He says 47.08% of the votes in Turkey and 12.60% of the votes abroad have been counted so far.

He rejected the accusations that the council was slowing down the release of official results.

He didn't answer questions on which candidate was leading.

Earlier, opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu criticised the council for failing to provide the results on time.

@Red Phoenix

Oy, fella.

This is actual shenanigans happening in real time - turn the video games off and get on the fuvkin case:

A visibly angry Kılıçdaroğlu, whose party accused Erdoğan’s camp of widespread electoral malpractice overnight, snapped back: “Despite all his slander and insults Erdoğan could not get the result he expected. The election cannot be won on the balcony. Data is still coming in.”

I've just got a PS5 and you're telling me to get the video games off? Hah!

Not surprised that Sultan Erdogan is rigging an election though if true, the guy is an authoritarian clown.

No one here can believe Erdoğan didn't get beat. Even the earthquake affected areas (50000) dead voted for him.

Rerun in 2 weeks, which means no alcohol during during a sporting event that finishes on the same day.

I will be in the UK so who cares.

Tourist guests in hotels are exempt, but no shops can sell on the day so if you're holidaying in a villa make sure you buy the day before.
