Are you happy about Sadio Mané?

Sometimes you have to spend more to get the right player.  Mane is the right player according to Klopp.

We've already made good value transfers in Karius, Matip & Grujic.

We've spent around £45m on four players.  Three of which will hopefully improve the first team instantly.

Don't get the obsession with talking about the price.

He may well be a good player but he's gonna need to become a very good player of he's going to make it here. Remains to be seen if he's got the balls to play for a club like ours and if he can be decisive in big games.

I like him,he's pretty much Sterlings replacement 12 months too late but £19m cheaper in an inflated market.

Discreet username there Gareth Morgan Thomas, born in 1971. I like it.

I'm so happy and confident that I've put him as captain in my fantasy squad.

I see your captaincy and raise you naming my team Manésfield Town.

Agree on the price thing. £30m is a reasonable fee. He's young, his stats stack up, fits out style of play, offers something different to what we already have in those positions and improves our starting 11. A good signing.

The more I see of hi, the less I care about his fee. In a world where Yannick fucking Bolasie is going for £30 million, we shouldn't quibble that much about the price.

He's extremely fast, breaks the line and scores goals so, barring a catastrophic drop in form, he should be a success.

He's also turning out to be a bit of a battler as well. Just when you think he's on the floor and lost it, he's suddenly up and running away with the ball.

he was brilliant today.  The goal he scored - he wasn't even favourite to get to the ball first when it was lumped approximately in his direction.  Best individual goal I've seen for us since Suarez.

I'd not really got a strong opinion of him as I've seen little in the past. He's caused us problems before but so have a lot of less than stellar players.

I guess my overriding though was a doubt as to whether we could play to his strengths with his pace, and whether he'd be one of those players that needs a few chances to score.

What I've seen in pre season though, and especially from today, I'm very excited about both him as a player, and how he'll play in our team.

I thought he was excellent today, and as said above, was great to see his battling qualities and tackling back.

The start of what's to come, I hope.
