Sadio Mane

I think it was about Salah not passing to him. They seemed to have a spat about it on the pitch, and when Sadio got the hook he threw a fit.

I can see where he's coming from, but I don't think the pass was on. The defender would have snuffed it out. That said, there seems to be a bit of history there.

Salah is a greedy twat at times. But getting the hook I think is to be taken as a compliment and klopp is trying to save a few mins in the legs. He clearly took off our best 2 strikers today. Also, I'm not sure mane passes there either.

People have been burying their heads in the sand with it for ages.  It’s been going on since the end of the 34 goal season.  What happened yesterday is a massive deal because it’s so out of character and it shows there’s clearly underlying issues behind the scenes.  He won’t be the only pissed off with Salah prioritising his own goal scoring records over the team.  Klopp and the club should have nipped it in the bud at the end of that season.  He was indulged far too long.

There will still people talking like this is a one off incident and will be completely dumbstruck as to why it’s happened because they can’t see what’s right in front of them.

The annoying thing is it looked like the club had dealt with it because he hadn’t done it this season up until yesterday.  The fact that Mane flipped off the back of it happening once in a game when it’s happened countless times game after game last season tells me they’ve definitely been spoken to about it because it was the reaction of a man who is absolutely fucking sick of it and thought it had been sorted.

The last thing we need is players not playing on instinct and hesitating before making decisions on whether to pass or shoot. It crippled Mane's game for a while after one in the derby a couple of years ago.

Looking at the game yesterday I think the one he should have passed was to Firmino earlier. I don't think a pass to Mane would have reached him.

I think expecting a squad to be uniformly harmonious is a little unrealistic. Anyone who's ever read a player's biography, or indeed just worked or played in a team of any sort, will know there's always tension simmering away under the surface, which occasionally bubbles over in some form or another.

As long as that's all it is it's probably not a massive concern. There are myriad examples of very successful teams containing players who weren't too fond of each other.

Whether there is a problem or not it should be kept behind closed doors nothing like washing your dirty linen in public.

I'm sure if it's an issue then Klopp will have both of them in and sort it .

We do have a strong manager in charge not like the spineless wonder further up the East Lancs.

All great strikers are too greedy at times, it's only when they're greedy all of the time to the detriment of the team when it becomes a problem.

Our front 3 are ace, the balance is perfect, they each shine, so to  "have a word with Mo" suggesting he changes his style of playing would be folly. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Understandable that Mane is frustrated but he needs to suck it up and realise he's a European Champion playing in the best forward line in the world.

Firmino is very unselfish & Mane fairly honest in that regard , Mo however has gone a bit rogue the last season and a bit and spends a lot of time blasting shots at defenders legs and passing as a last resort. I think Mane's carrying-on yesterday may actually do some good shining a light on it and think Mo may be more of a team player like he was in his first season , when it benefitted him goals-wise.
