Sadio Mane

Don't know why JP is arsed about Mane, he'll just be a sub for the mega money signings following him through the door.

Klopp is being given the biggest transfer budget LFC have ever had this summer. JP said so, repeatedly.

And you can take guarantees as safe as that to any bank in the world.

Sounds like a terrible winger...

Agreed. JP has it right.  He'll never do anything for our first team when he's running in behind, and has guys like Coutinho and Firmino to play onto his run...

... and fuck.  It's not like our manager wants someone to press when we lose position, as well.  Who fucking signed this cunt?

Mane welcome to LFC and your new scapegoat status.

You have six months of bedding in before we declare you shit in the most vitriolic terms possible, abuse you at Anfield and make it almost certain that you will fail here and we will lose a shitload of money on you.

Six months? Fuck you're generous.  We've already got people here calling him all sorts.

This is the worst deal the club has done, Carroll had an outstanding attribute with his ability in the air and Benteke had a 1 in 2 goal record.Mane is a poor striker who can do a job out wide, he's a very poor mans Bellamy and is very inconsistent.

If we are willing to have someone out wide who is shit for large parts of the season we should have let Ibe have a run of games to develop.I was laughing when Manu were linked with him last season and I hoped they would sign him as he is not good enough for a top club, embarrassing deal and we should have stumped up for Teixera.

After this, I'm all for Mané and think he will be a huge sucess

Signing all of Mane, Karius & Matip for under £40m, who could all feasibly improve our first XI.

Look at the total spend, not this one isolated Mane deal.

We have done good business IMO, improving three first team positions hopefully.

Telegraph

Liverpool have made an up-front payment of £34.5 million to Southampton, just £500,000 short of the fee paid to Newcastle United in January 2011 for the striker Andy Carroll, still the club’s record signing.

That figure will rise to between £36 million and £38.5 million depending on Mane’s appearances and Liverpool’s success this season in qualifying for the Champions League and how far they get in the competition the following season, 2017-2018.

Carragher says it is £30m.

Liked Mane at Southampton but I do think 30 mil is expensive but if he delivers it'll be worth it like every transfer. It's 30 not 38.5 mil!
