I'm sure the media will be all over Watson's behaviour in much the same way when pregnant Ellie Reeves faced deselection the other week .

You lot don’t half turn on your own, the language used is scary.

I wonder how people outside the party would be treated if you came to power? I’d imagine the LDs would be in the camps but Conservatives?

Yes , 12 years before Hillsborough and based in Ireland which was why I didn't think it fair to mention it in my earlier posts , but strangely enough the mention of it has disappeared from wiki. ( Along with his stint with the Droitwich Guardian !! )

I was just musing about Labour today and I reckon the problems of the last 4 years can be boiled down to an imbalance of power.

The party contains Social Democrats and Socialists and all shades in between, and that's fine: the party's big enough to accommodate them all. The trouble is that most of the power in the party - in HQ, the PLP, the NEC - has for too long been in the hands of one wing of the party and they are not going to allow their power to be eroded by democracy without a fight. Some significant strides towards democracy have been made - bringing in a leader, a General Secretary and an NEC more representative of the wider party - but there's still a way to go before we're in a position to win a General Election.  (The Deputy Leader is currently the most potent force working against the party.  Replace him with someone who will act in good faith and we'll be in much better shape.)

The only way to end this is to send Corbyn and Maureen Lipman into the Gaza Strip with uzis and desert eagles to cap motherfuckers.

A kid would be about to throw some hummus at Lipman and Corbyn would shoot him with a Patriot missile. Lipman would look at him and he'd just nod back, knowingly.

"You can spin my dreidel any time."

"Bullshit...you can spin mine."

gnasherjew would tweet the video and Rachel Riley would retweet it with a heart above it. And we can all get back to business.
