The game was rigged;

It was a scam. All of it.

It still is. It probably always has been.

I saw a comment from turdseye yesterday where he said something like people just don’t care anymore (about a Labour candidate in his Hancock constituency) and instantly thought well they fucking should don’t give up. Then I thought about it a bit more and thought can you blame people for being that disillusioned that not only do we not live in a fair democracy but people still vote and cheer these fuckers in. What chance do the decent people have?

Yeah, it's all part and parcel of it. It's known when they go into it, Corbyn knew it, Starmer knows it, Miliband knew it. I really want something radical to change. The status quo can be a bit shit if most of the people get by most of the time, but this is taking the piss. Large parts of the country are clearly suffering. Corruption and lack of integrity is rife, we have a electoral system that's not fit for use, our constitutional monarchy and representative parliamentary democracy is shockingly out of touch and not actually representative, and the entire make-up of the country is still set up to tackle the problems of the past. We need a full restructure.

I would, however, settle for a Lib/Lab coalition.

I'd absolutely settle for a Lib/Lab coalition. Throw the Greens and maybe even the SNP in for good measure.
